ABOUT

We all get tired sometimes.

Tired of the hustle, the news, the plans, the pressure to be productive before breakfast. At some point, admitting you needed a break almost sounded like a sign of weakness. Stress was in.

At SUNDAY IN BED. we celebrate every kind of tiredness.

She says you were there, you took care of everything, you gave a lot – and now it's time to slip into soft sheets and elastic waistbands. Like the stylish adult you are.

Founded in 1999 by Ina Solbach, SUNDAY IN BED. began with bedding designed to make ignoring the alarm clock a little easier: cool cotton, relaxed linen, and a French toile de Jouy that made even a nap look chic. The first collections emerged as a calm response to loud patterns—sewn from fine fabrics normally only found in shirts.

It's now become a whole way of life – bed linen and loungewear that looks as good as it feels. Production takes place where quality and craftsmanship are at home: Our bed linen is made in Portugal, the patterns are produced in Germany – just like all custom-made items in our in-house sewing shop near Chemnitz. The fabrics come from Portugal, Italy, and Turkey; our winter knitwear, mostly with cashmere, comes from Inner Mongolia. And the sewing is done in small family businesses in Poland and Bulgaria.

For all those who take their peace and quiet seriously – but not themselves.

Those who brunch in their pajamas, host dinners barefoot, and make "just five more minutes" a way of life. But also those who go to their desk at 6 a.m. in their favorite nightgown, lose track of time, and open the door for the delivery person at 13 p.m. without having to hide.

All pieces are 100% made with love and ideal for stylish lounging. Because comfort isn't laziness—it's luxury. And sometimes doing nothing is the most productive thing you can do. Because even if a day feels as long as a week, you get up after a good night's sleep and do what you didn't think possible yesterday:
